Parador De Gijon

The breakfast was one of the best I've had, with delicious local cakes, and the staff provided great service. The room was dated and had issues with the shower which changed temperature too quickly. There were limited food options available outside regular meal times.

This place was just beautiful very nice staff and very close to the old town. It is situated on the most beautiful park filled with ducks and beautiful exotic birds. Our room's window opened up to this beautiful park and the sound of water trickling from the ponds and the sound of birds and ducks. Highly recommend this parador I wish we could have stayed longer. But will return for sure!!

Everything was just perfect! The staff very he Fu and the rooms were perfection!

Good location close to the coast, bars and resturants.

The parador is right next to a lovely park, perfect for a stroll. Our standard double room was well appointed and very comfortable. The standout service was the staff helping with our bicycle rental.

There is no spa, sauna.

The venue was stylish, I liked the location just next door to the Parador restaurant appeared lacking atmosphere, the beach, the downtown area and the historic center and lakes and aviary containing many exotic birds, and city views. Overall the service was very good. The location was magnificent and stunning, close to Isabel la Catolica Park. It also was close to the football stadium. Pleasant food in the tapas restaurant was the best part.

The food was disappointingly bland, especially the evening meals that were poorly presented, leading me to dine elsewhere. The decor felt tired, and the hotel lacked the vibrant ambiance one would hope for from such a historic hotel.

The hotel is ideally located in Gijon, close to a park and less than 10 mins walk to the sea. There is on site free parking and the hotel was easy to find and easy to return to the autovia when leaving the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious and there are good seating areas around the Parador. There is free wi-fi in the public areas but not in the rooms.

Hotel seems a bit old and not anything special, even though it is a parador and I expected it to be a bit nicer.

Comfortable room, lovely breakfast, free Wi-Fi. The room was spacious with a tv and the breakfast offered an excellent selection of local cakes.

The room had everything we needed, love the minibar, tv, and a private bathroom with a bath and bidet. Such a peaceful vibe with views from the window. Staff was great at helping us enjoy our stay. The spa facilities were a perfect touch for relaxation after a long day out.
